Artistry and your organization

It is ironic that the very thing that is most suspect by business, that intangible thing called artistry, turns out to be the most practical tool available to it. For it is only an original talent that can vie with all the shocking news events and violence in the world for the attention of the consumer. –Bill Bernbach

Can anything but artistry ...

  • shock us, so we stop – and look?
  • rile us, so we have to think about what we're doing?
  • mesmerize? whisper? beckon?
  • stir memories of our past?
  • make us imagine a better planet in our future?

Artistry is the agent of change who's hard to pin down, and who gets us human beings agreeing.

Words and images, sounds and movement, interaction and stillness (the tools of artistry) make it so that our interactions are not defined by buyer and seller, them and us. Suddenly, somehow, we're all in this together, comrades in arms.

And helping create enduring alliances between organizations and the people in their markets has been the practice of Strauss and Strauss since 1991.
